Dream Time Creative has been running a blue plaque scheme since 2018. If you’d like to start the process of nominating a woman for a blue plaque please download our advice sheet and form here:

To date all of our blue plaques have been paid for as part of wider arts funded projects designed to empower the female voice and make visible achievements from women from Wakefield and District’s past. We are now able to offer groups or individuals the opportunity to fund nominations of women they would like to see honoured on a blue plaque so we can continue with our campaign for #blueplaqueparity across the entire district.
