Round Our Way Heritage Walks
Our heritage walks in Wakefield explore local history and the Forgotten Women of Wakefield. The walks are a volunteer-led project uncovering women’s stories and bringing them to life.
Funds raised by these walks have supported blue plaques to women in the Wakefield area, and we are currently saving for the Florence Beaumont sculpture, due to be unveiled in 2028, the centenary of when all women in the UK got the vote.
